A Patriot Day Ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 11 at the Veterans Memorial Garden, 3200 Veterans Memorial Drive.

The ceremony will include a wreath posting at the Post 9/11 Monument, a reading of the monument’s names, and brief remarks. The event honors those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 and Nebraska heroes who lost their lives in service to our country in the years that followed.

Hey, Husker Fans! There's been an update to route options into Lincoln. We've updated the map and link in the original post.

This is the main change: Visitors from Omaha or the northeast have five exit options off of I-80. They include the Lincoln Airport exit 399, Ninth Street exit 401 (pre-games only), 27th Street exit 403, 56th Street Exit 405, and Waverly Exit 409. The Lincoln Airport Exit 399 and 27th Street Exit 403 have no construction impacting these routes.

The heat index may reach 105 degrees tomorrow, September 4. If you're going to the game, bring a sealed water bottle or an empty water bottle to refill in the stadium.

With high temps expected Saturday for Nebraska Football vs. Ohio, fans may bring 1 sealed bottle of water into Memorial Stadium.

Empty water bottles are always allowed & can be refilled at stadium fountains.
