💙 Letters for Heroes 💙
Over the last few weeks, GEMS Panthers students and staff have been busy writing heartfelt letters of appreciation to our local heroes — our first responders. 💌

We were so grateful for the opportunity to personally deliver some of these letters to Lincoln PD and Roseville PD officers👮‍♀️👮‍♂️ We know these simple notes of gratitude can mean so much to the people who serve and protect our communities every day.

A huge thank you to the amazing people who shared this wonderful idea with us! They are helping deliver the remaining letters (almost 800!!) to local first responders so that even more heroes can feel the love and appreciation from our GEMS Panthers community. ❤️

🎤📱 Today was a great day for digital citizenship!
Our grade-level assemblies featuring Dr Blake Brandes, who shared an important message about online safety and digital citizenship.

Our students had a blast learning, participating, and—of course—joining in on some incredible beatboxing! 🎶🙌

We’re looking forward to seeing our parents tonight at 6:00 PM for an opportunity to continue the conversation and learn how we can support our students in navigating the digital world safely and responsibly.

Our 6th grade scientists put their observation and communication skills to the test! Students observed 7 different items and described their characteristics without naming the item.

This activity gave students the opportunity to practice using specific scientific language and discover why clear, detailed communication is so important in science. 🧠🔎

Great job, scientists, on making your observations precise and purposeful! 👏✨
