๐ŸŽ—๏ธ Cancer treatment can affect more than your bodyโ€”it can affect your septic system, too.

For people undergoing chemotherapy who rely on a septic system, this is an important issue that often goes unrecognized.

Chemotherapy medications can enter wastewater after leaving the body, disrupting the beneficial bacteria septic systems depend on. This can mean more frequent septic pumping may be needed during treatment.

The added cost and stress of unexpected septic maintenance is something cancer patients and their families shouldn't have to face alone.

๐Ÿ’™ Pumps for Patients coordinates no-cost septic pumping services for qualifying patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Weโ€™re sharing this resource because many patients, caregivers, and even healthcare providers have never heard about the connection between chemotherapy and septic systems.

If you or someone you know is undergoing chemotherapy and relies on a septic system, we encourage you to learn more and share this resource with others who may need it.
