๐Ÿ’œIf you've been to Mourning Hope, you've seen the quilts that are displayed on our walls, created by families who have been through our grief support groups. But did you know that we also have more than 30 years of additional quilts catalogued and hanging on custom racks built by our friends at TMCO, Inc.? If you've created a quilt square at Mourning Hope, you're always welcome to come back and see it, even years later.

We're incredibly grateful to Tony Demma and everyone at Iron Brush Tattoo and Body Piercing () for including Mourning Hope in their Charity Flash Day last month!

Since we never charge fees for any bereaved family or individual to access grief support, we depend on donations from the community. The Iron Brush team consistently shows up and gives back to Lincoln nonprofits, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Please join us in sending a mega thanks to Tony and Iron Brush for supporting our mission that no one has to grieve alone! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿงกโ˜€ And special thanks to all of YOU who got pierced for the cause! ๐Ÿค˜

๐ŸŽจLet's create! On Saturday, June 13, children and teens who have experienced the death of someone significant are invited to spend the morning expressing themselves through art. This FREE program is open to all, but registration is required.

Learn more and register your family at mourninghope.org/services/programs/events.html!

Guest Artist Bob Reeker will guide youth participants in creating uniquely expressive sculptures that reflect their personal grief journeys, incorporating emotions, memories, discoveries about themselves in the midst of loss, and the resilience and hope that can emerge through the healing process. Caregivers will meet separately and be guided through a supportive discussion focused on grief, connection, and shared experiences.

We recently received this message from the proud mom of a 2026 high school graduate who participated in Mourning Hope grief support groups while growing up, and we're just beaming with pride in her accomplishments as well. It is our profound honor to walk alongside you both in the heavy moments and the times of celebration.

She did it! ๐Ÿ’œ

โ›บIf there are circle games happening in the foyer, it must be time to start getting ready for CAMP! The first group of Camp Erin 2026 volunteers met for some training this week, and their laughter was unmistakable camp JOY.

We're looking for more caring volunteers to join us for this fall as we provide grieving youth with a weekend-long, overnight camp experience that combines grief education and emotional support with fun, traditional camp activities. Like everything we do, camp is free for all participants-- which makes our volunteer support so critical!

๐Ÿ’œTake your time. The shore is still there.

If you or someone you know could use someone to swim alongside you, for just a little while or for much longer, we're here.

๐Ÿ’œTHANK YOU, LINCOLN!๐Ÿ’œ We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support and love you shared with grieving youth and families on Give to Lincoln Day. More than $63,000 (a record for us!) was raised by 180 individual donors, which will continue to ensure that 100% of our grief support services are provided free to anyone who needs them, always. We are so grateful to be part of a community that shows up for each other in such meaningful ways.

Thank you to the Lincoln Community Foundation for bringing Lincoln together once again for this powerful event, and thank YOU for making sure that NO ONE has to grieve alone.

Just a few hours remain to be part of Give to Lincoln Day 2026! As the final buzzer gets closer, we're calling on you to root for grieving kids, teens, and young adults with a gift to Mourning Hope.

Your donation helps young people find connection, understanding, healing, and hope amidst loss. For kids carrying grief, having that support can change everything.

Generous people like you make our mission possible. Help us show grieving youth that they are seen, supported, and never alone. That this team is always standing beside them and cheering them on.๏ปฟ
