UPDATE: After assessing current conditions, crews will not be plowing today.

❄️ Snow Removal Update ❄️

Crews are operating on emergency routes only this morning.

Please remove vehicles from emergency routes roadways.

Snowfall is expected to gradually taper off today and temperatures are forecasted to be in the 30s-40s today and Sunday, which will likely lead to rapid snowmelt.

🌞What this means:
• Priority is being given to main/emergency routes
• Residential streets will be addressed as needed
• Travel with caution and allow extra time

We’ve received questions about recent odors coming from the lagoons. Due to current and recent weather conditions, we have not been able to safely aerate the ponds. Attempting to run the aeration equipment in these conditions could damage the pumps and infrastructure.

We understand the smell can be unpleasant and appreciate your patience. Our team is closely monitoring conditions and will resume aeration as soon as it can be done safely without risking equipment damage.

Thank you for your understanding as we work to maintain the system responsibly.

Its that time of year again when Lincoln Public Works will be out sweeping streets next week Monday (3-23-26) if the weather holds up. We will be starting on the south side of Lincoln Rd.
Monday, Tuesday south of Lincoln Rd. Wednesday - Friday North of Lincoln Rd. the following week we will start over to pick up any roads we didn't get to the previous week.

So Please move all vehicles and Garbage cans off the road if possible.

We would like to thank everyone who participated in and donated to our ornament hunt. Because of the generosity, we had a few toys left after the hunt concluded, which we were happy to donate to the Dakota Children’s Advocacy Center to help support local familys affected by trama or abuse.

Thank you to everyone who donated towards the toy drive organized by Lincoln ND Public Works. We appreciate their staff also for facilitating and delivering all these amazing toys for the kids we provide services for!

Good news! Public Works will be open until 3:00 PM today, so if you haven’t found an ornament yet, there’s still time to head out and grab one.

Already found one? Bring it in and come pick out a toy!
