Last night we had a reunion that was years overdue. Some of us had not seen one another in 20yrs or more in some cases. It was a great night reconnecting and reliving our memories of FLFD and things we did outside of the firehouse. The second picture was an item that was held onto by FF J Enos for about 20+ years. IT is the desk drawer from the desk that was in the bay at the firehouse he salvaged before the desk was removed. It was awesome seeing that and reading the things members wrote years ago. We need to plan something again soon and not wait 25+ years to do so.

We raised a glass to all members we lost through the years with a reading of the names.

The whole night was a walk down memory lane and a walk everyone enjoyed!

Till the next one gentlemen stay safe!!!

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of former Captain Kevin McGee. Kevin was a Fairlawn born guy and lived pretty much across the street from the firehouse. He was a gentle kind soul and never talked ill of another person. He was a firehouse regular for sure. Would spend hours at the station during the day then head to Lincoln Greyhound Park for his night traffic detail. Once that was over he would be right back at the firehouse hanging out with the rest of the crew. Kevin was built like a flag pole tall as anything and skinny and could never figure out when he ate were he put it lol. When ever we would order from Pawtucket House of Pizza and ask him if he wanted anything, his famous response was "I could have a slice". Then we would order and he would never pitch in lol but always ended up getting a slice. Later in life he found his soul mate in Paula and man was he happy. Seeing him living life to the fullest with his posts on the traveling he was doing and people he met. We will miss you Kevin R.I.P. We'll take it from here brother!

Soggy see you on the other side!
