We spark public and private community leaders to capitalize on local expertise and resources by working together. We engage state and local decision makers so the polices they shape help children thrive.

That's our own Mikayla Wicks pulling weeds at the North Platte Catholic Community Food Pantry's community garden! She volunteered with our friends from Families 1st Partnership & Straight Up Advocates to learn about food resources in North Platte and the work to help support families.

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing volunteers from Straight Up Advocates for spending time in the North Platte Catholic Community Food Pantry Community Garden!

Their hard work, positive attitudes, and willingness to serve are helping us grow fresh produce that will benefit local families in need throughout our community.

Straight Up Advocates is a peer-support group that brings people together through encouragement, education, resource sharing, outreach, and mutual support. We are grateful they chose to give back through service in our garden.
