🚨 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED 🚨

The Lincoln Police Department is exploring the idea of creating a “Safety Village” for our community — a fun and educational space where children can learn about bike safety, pedestrian safety, traffic laws, emergency services, and more through hands-on experiences.
We are looking for community feedback and support to see if this is something our residents would like to help build together!

We are currently seeking:
🚲 Slightly used pedal carts, tricycles, or ride-on toys
🏠 Volunteers or contractors willing to help construct small buildings/facades for the village
🛠 Donations of building materials or supplies
👷 Community volunteers to assist with planning, setup, and events
💡 Ideas and feedback from residents on what they would like to see included

Our vision is to create a lasting community resource where kids can learn valuable safety lessons in a fun and interactive environment while building positive relationships with first responders.

If you or someone you know would be interested in donating, volunteering, sponsoring, or helping in any way, please contact the Lincoln Police Department or send us a message [email protected].

We would love to hear your thoughts and see if this is a project our community wants to make a reality together!
