Placer Co Fire Explorer Program This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door for a rewarding career in the fire service. Accepting applications now!

Our goal is to produce a well prepared entry level fire candidate who has shown his/her dedication to the fire service through their commitment and dedication to his/her time as an Explorer. Our “finished product” will make a smooth transition to any accredited fire academy in the Nation. While participating, Explorers will have numerous opportunities to meet and work with ranked Officers from our

Department, thus increasing their chances for future employment. We will have fun when appropriate, and we will also hold our members to a high standard. We are committed to help all who join, as long as the individuals put forth the effort.
