For Tanya Crawford, Nebraska 4-H is a family tradition spanning three generations. 🍀

Today, she’s carrying that tradition forward through Nebraska Extension — drawing on two Husker degrees and more than 15 years of experience to help young Nebraskans learn, lead and discover what they’re capable of.

Meet Tanya and see how a lifelong connection to 4-H became a career serving Nebraska youth and families.

Twenty-five years later, we remember.

At Memorial Stadium, University of Nebraska-Lincoln ROTC, first responders, students and community members climbed together to honor those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, and the first responders who climbed toward danger to help others.

With every step, we continue the promise to never forget.

Today, we join Nebraskans and Americans across the country in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the courage of those who responded, the service of those who answered the call in the years that followed, and the families and communities forever changed.

We will never forget.

🌽 Wait… CORN is our Plant of the Week?!
You read that right! And there might not be a more Nebraska choice. 😍 UNL Alum and owner of Tailored Landscapes, Jake Sittner shows us how three rows of corn found a home at the Osborne Legacy Complex—right in the heart of Lincoln and just steps from Memorial Stadium. 🏈🌽
It’s unexpected. It’s nostalgic. And it’s the perfect nod to the Cornhusker State.

What do you think of the corn at Memorial Stadium?

Nebraska is leading what’s next in agriculture.

With agriculture and natural resources programs ranked in the top 9% worldwide, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is preparing the next generation to carry that leadership forward.

CASNR Interim Dean Tom Burkey joined RFD-TV to talk about what makes Nebraska different: a Big Ten education paired with hands-on learning, leading research and direct connections to Nebraska agriculture.

Burkey describes Nebraska as a “living laboratory,” where students can learn from faculty and researchers and build relationships with Nebraska Extension, agribusinesses and partners across the state.

It’s an education grounded in Nebraska with an impact that reaches far beyond it.
