Wow! The dogs for dogs event on Saturday was a hit!! The Nichols family raised $840 for the animal shelter!! We couldn’t be more thankful and happy!! Thank you for hosting this event and also thank you to everyone who came!!

One of our staff members just had to show you how SWEET this cat is! Not only is spirit adorable but he is literally a lap cat. He does not want to be alone!!! He is so sweet please someone come adopt him!! He is shy with new people but once he warms up, he will never leave your side!

💔 Sometimes life changes in ways that our four legged friends don’t understand. 💔

Yesterday, two beautiful souls, Amber and Jabba, were surrendered to us through no fault of their own. Their owner unfortunately found themselves in a living situation where they could no longer keep them. And while we know surrendering them had to be incredibly difficult, we also know these two deserve to know that this is not the end of their story. ❤️

✨ Meet Ember! ✨
Ember is a roughly 3 year old Great Dane mix with the goofiest, sweetest face and the most adorable droopy expression. She is bubbly, outgoing, energetic, and absolutely loves people. And if you have a ball? Well… congratulations, you’ve just become Embers best friend! 🎾😂 She is always ready to play and would happily keep the fun going all day.

✨ And then there’s Jabba! ✨

Our handsome 3 year old mixed breed boy is cute, funky looking, and completely lovable. Jabba is curious about everything happening around him and seems happiest when he’s simply hanging out with his people. He’s sweet, social, and has that wonderful “I just want to be wherever you are” kind of personality. 🥹❤️

Both Ember and Jabba are spayed/neutered and up to date on their vaccines. They are energetic dogs who would love families willing to give them plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention. They do well in their kennels and knows some commands too!

🐾💕 LOOK WHO JUST MADE A NEW BEST FRIEND! 💕🐾

Today was a very special day for two of our handsome boys! 🥹🐶🐶

The staff decided it was finally time to see what would happen if we introduced Mojo and Clover to each other! We weren’t sure how it would go, so we took things slow, gave them plenty of space, and let them get comfortable at their own pace. 💗

At first, they were definitely doing the classic “Okay… who are YOU?” routine. 😂👀 There were lots of cautious sniffs, a little hesitation, and plenty of figuring each other out. But with a little patience and some time, something absolutely adorable started happening…

THEY WARMED UP TO EACH OTHER! 🥹❤️

And now look at them!!! 😭🐾

What started as two dogs cautiously getting to know one another turned into two boys who seem like they’ve decided, “Yep… you’re my friend.” 🥰 They’ve been so sweet together, and watching them relax around each other has been the cutest thing ever.

There’s just something so heartwarming about seeing a dog realize that they have a new friend. 💕 A little sniff here, a little tail wag there, and before you know it, they’re hanging out like they’ve known each other forever!

Both of these handsome boys are AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION and patiently waiting for their forever families. 🏡🐾❤️ They each deserve a loving home where they can continue to learn, grow, play, and most importantly, be spoiled like the good boys they are!

And who knows… maybe their new friendship is just the beginning of something even more special. 🥹💕

Whether they find a home together or separately, we are just so happy they got the chance to meet and discover that the other one isn’t so bad after all. 😂🐶

🌈✨ MEET WINKLE STAR! ✨🌈

Some dogs walk into your life… and some dogs LIGHT IT UP. ⭐️💛

Meet Winkle, aka Winkle Star, because this sweet boy shines brighter than just about anyone we’ve ever met. 🌟 And that SMILE?! 😭🥹 Look at that face! Winkle literally smiles, and we swear it’s one of the cutest things on the entire planet. His happiness is completely contagious. Spend a little time with him and we guarantee you’ll be smiling too! 🥰

Winkle is an absolute ray of sunshine in a sometimes dark world. 🌈☀️ He is the happiest, goofiest, most lovable boy, and he has so much life and love left to give.

And yes… he’s a little on the fluffy side. 😂🍪 But honestly, look at him! He’s just a little extra to love. ❤️

Winkle is estimated to be around 8–10 years old, but don’t let that number fool you! This boy still has plenty of pep in his step and the energy and liveliness you’d expect from a much younger dog. He loves his treats (as you can clearly see 😋), knows tricks, and is potty trained!

He is already neutered and will be up to date on vaccines before going home. 🩺🐾

Winkle may prefer to be your one and only dog, as we don’t think he’s the biggest fan of other pups. But honestly? Who needs another dog when you have a Winkle Star to brighten your days? ⭐️
