Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio currently serves children in Allen, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert counties. You’re not alone!

Our programs are about spending time with a child in a one-to-one relationship. We support match relationships in two different settings:

School-based: Bigs and Littles meet once a week in schools, libraries and/or at lunch, to talk and have fun. It’s not about being a tutor…it’s about being a friend – someone they can rely on to see every week. Community-based: Bigs and Littles meet 2 to 4 times a month and the time spent together is flexible to fit your busy schedule. Matches can hang out in the community and go to parks, sports events, movies, and more. It’s up to you and your Little! When you’re part of something Big, you’re not alone. Each match is supported by professional Match Support Specialists who regularly check in with volunteers, children, and parents, and are always available to answer your questions. Throughout the year your agency sponsors activities that you and your Little can participate in.
