Call breakdown:
• 390 EMS calls
• 18 fire calls, including 4 building fires
• 57 service calls
• 54 false alarms
• 75 other incidents

Training, Personnel & Community Highlights
• Conducted joint training with Allen County JFS
• Continued daily shift training throughout the month
• Participated in the Allen County Fair Parade
• Took part in National Night Out
• Attended the LEPC meeting
• Firefighters Rick Berner and Bryan Malsam retired, marking the conclusion of long and dedicated service careers
• The 2027 budget was prepared
• Annual hydrant painting was completed across the city
• Crews participated in the UNOH disaster drill
• Responded to a large-scale incident involving gasoline entering the city sewer system, ensuring public and environmental safety
August brought strong training efforts, major operational accomplishments, and excellent community involvement by all our crews.
