Allen County Children Services

Allen County Children Services "Protecting Children...Strengthening Families" The agency offers support to many families to help them keep their children safe in their own homes.

Allen County Children Services is the agency mandated by Ohio law to provide protective services to the children of our county. When child abuse and/or neglect are placing children at risk, temporary custody and sometimes permanent custody, may become necessary. Every day we assess reports of abuse and neglect, provide ongoing services and collaborate with other social service organizations in Allen County to meet the needs of our community's most vulnerable children.

Our agency’s Executive Director, Sarah Newland, was on Noon Edition today providing viewers with safety tips for Summer as well as urging ma*****na users with children around to keep their ma*****na products secure and away from children especially younger children who are unaware what a product that looks like gummies or candy may be. The child, especially with a body a lot smaller than an adult, can become very sick and require hospitalization.

Summer fun is coming up for kids - Allen County Children Services is in with some safety reminders!
