Thank you so much to everyone who supported our Click It or Ticket event on Tuesday, May 12, at the Shawnee Police Department. The efforts from the Shawnee Police Department, the Shawnee Fire Department, the Shawnee Local School District, and our Safe Community Coalition were amazing!

Thanks, too, to Lewis Family McDonald's for the McFlurry coupons so we could reward seat belt users with a sweet treat!

Please stay safe while driving or riding in a car by always wearing a seat belt!

LACRPC's 2026 Public Participation Plan draft can be viewed and commented on until Jun 15, 2026. Please follow this link to read through the plan and fill out an online public comment form and/or download a copy of either.

The Public Participation Process allows community members to engage in local government decisions. Residents can attend public meetings, provide feedback during designated comment periods, submit written opinions, and participate in public hearings.

Thanks for all who came out to enjoy, volunteer, donate, and support us today during our Bike Rodeo with the Lima-Allen County Bike and Pedestrian Taskforce!

Children learned bicycle safety skills, traffic rules and proper riding habits during a Bike Rodeo hosted Saturday at Lima Noon Optimist Safety City.

Join LACRPC and the Allen County Safe Community Coalition on May 12 at 2:30 in Shawnee for a seat belt safety event to kick off the national "Click It or Ticket" campaign. We are partnering with Shawnee Local School District, Shawnee Police Department, and Shawnee Fire Department to bring some seat belt safety education. We hope to see you there!
