WIC Income Guidelines Have Been Updated.
New income eligibility guidelines take effect June 8, 2026. You may now qualify for WIC even if you did not qualify before.
WIC provides:
✅ Healthy foods
✅ Nutrition education
✅ Breastfeeding support
✅ Community Referrals
If you already receive Medicaid, TANF, or NC Food and Nutrition Services (FNS), you automatically meet the WIC income eligibility requirement.

She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University and also holds a Master of Social Work degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

When she's not caring for patients, Melissa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers.
