VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Due to school being out, vacations long overdue, planned surgeries, and a host of other reasons, the Harnett Food Pantry is experiencing volunteer shortages every day we are open. To make matters worse, the need for our Harnett County families experiencing food insecurity is ever increasing.
If you feel called to help your neighbors within this community (we serve all areas of Harnett County), please consider volunteering one day a month, one day a week, three days a week, or whenever you are available.
Our open hours are Monday from 4-6:30, Tuesday from 1-4, and Thursday from 10-1. Volunteers are asked to arrive 30 - 60 minutes prior to open to help set up.
Requirements:
1. Must be 16 yo.
2. No open-toed shoes or sandals allowed.
3. Must be able to lift at least 1 gallon of milk.
4. Leave your weapons at home or in the car.
If you would like to volunteer, just show up. We would love to see you there.

FREE PLANTS AND SEEDS - We have received a donation of 600 plants and 1,000 packets of Burpee seeds to give away. With permission of the church, we have placed them behind the Life Point Church (formerly known as the Church of God) located just across the street from the Pantry. These plants and seeds are to be shared with anyone who wants to plant them, but they must not be sold. Please come and help yourself but take only what you can use.😃

BREAKING: Donald Trump accepts the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy.

“I won this trophy. Everyone knows it. I won it big. Maybe the biggest win anyone’s ever seen,” Trump said moments after a squad of heavily armed special agents deployed tear gas and flash bangs to subdue Fernando Mendoza and physically pry the trophy from his grasp as he screamed incoherently on the turf.

“The committee made a horrible mistake we had to correct. Very unfair. They gave it to Indiana. But I won Indiana. And when you win Indiana, you win everything in Indiana,” Trump continued. “That’s the law. People don’t talk about it enough, but it’s absolutely the law. Look it up.”

Trump went on to explain that, under “ancient tradition” and “very strong precedent,” he is therefore entitled to all trophies, banners, and rings, citing the doctrine of prima nocta, which he described as “very classy, very respected, honestly kind of beautiful.”
