Historic Wynne-Russell House The Wynne-Russell House, built in 1826, is on the Registry of Historic Places The site also includes a family cemetery.

The Wynne-Russell House, built in 1826, is on the Registry of Historic Places and is a pristine example of “Plantation Plain” architectural style of the upper Piedmont region. The interior floors, walls and fireplaces are original and largely untouched by modern finishing. The home is located at 4684 Wynne-Russell Drive in Lilburn. Tours are free and donations to the Lilburn Community Partnership

which maintains the house are welcomed. Rentals are also available for small groups such as meetings, showers, and family gatherings.

The Wynne-Russell House is celebrating a big Birthday this year. Our Historic House is 200 years old!

And we would love for you to stop by and help us celebrate this huge milestone for Lilburn's oldest home!

You'll step back in time and see what life was like way back when. You'll also learn about the history of the home and families who lived there. We'll have demonstrations, food, and historical exhibits for you to enjoy.

So stop by on Saturday, May 16, anytime between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. We hope you will celebrate with us!

Had a great great time at my spooky event at the Historic Wynne-Russell House. A big thanks to everyone that bought tickets to support the preservation of a home that is my heart. I truly truly appreciate the support of my friends, who have heard these stories multiple times and the new friends I made!! We had perfect weather and I had a captive, engaging and interactive group 🖤 Be sure to check out the photo of my spirit fingers 🤣🤣 (evidence that I'm that not at all afraid of looking silly 🥰) The feedback was so great and so many want me to do it again, I'm sure we will, but 2 hours was definitely not long enough! 👻

Join Teresa for our September open house tour on 9/13/25 from 10am - 12pm. Come and learn about the history of the home, the families that lived there and our on going preservation efforts! You might also hear a thing or two about ghostly happenings! Reservations are not required, but please note, there is ONE tour that starts at 10am.
