Puppies and Pilates Fundraiser! Certain people enjoy working out. I have never shared this enthusiasm. Nevertheless, adding puppies to the workout makes it incredibly enticing to me. My favorite animal shelter partnered with Club Pilates to organize an outstanding fundraising event today. The workout was great, despite occasional distractions caused by these charming puppies!

Prior to my father's passing, my family and I spent numerous weeks at Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital, where he consistently received exceptional care. Visiting the hospital always brings back memories. However, donating to their pediatric unit has proven to be a profoundly positive experience. This time, my partner in "You Gotta Have Faith", Saryna Louise and I donated hats, blankets, angel gowns and books of positive affirmation.

The Children's Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin serves as a prominent pediatric healthcare hub, providing a comprehensive array of services spanning primary and urgent care to advanced specialty and inpatient care, and maintains an affiliation with the Medical College of Wisconsin. It was a pleasure to contribute 25 of my hand-knitted Valentine's Day themed baby hats to this facility. As Reigning Purls of Hope celebrates its sixth anniversary, directing new volunteers in the creation of hand-knitted baby hats for charitable purposes is deeply fulfilling. The success of our global outreach efforts is attributed to the collective efforts of many individuals who have contributed over the past five years. As an avid reader who favors physical books over tablets, I find it fitting to support Bernie's Book Bank, an organization I hold in high regard, through book donations. Established in 2009, Bernie's Book Bank delivers quality children's literature at no cost to underprivileged youngsters in Chicagoland, thereby fostering a love of reading and contributing to their academic success.

On Tuesday, I embarked on my annual holiday trip to the Salvation Army in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Each year, we shop for toys that are specifically requested on a child's Christmas list. This year, 2000 children in Sheboygan County will receive brand new donated toys to open during the holiday season.
