June’s utility bill will include an increase in the trash collection fees. Residential fees will increase from $ 11.29 per month to $13.25 per month. Container fees will also be increasing according to the size of the container.

The Town of Liberty’s 2025 Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report is available for viewing at libertyin.gov or a hard copy can also be viewed and picked up at the Town’s Administrative Office during scheduled working hours.

Town residents may see employees of Directline Contractors walking around your neighborhood. Directline is installing fiber optic cabling for Frontier who is now owned by Verizon this summer. They are assessing the area for the installation.

The Town Administration building will be closed Friday, April 3rd in observance of Good Friday.

The Town would like to thank the residents and the businesses in the Harrison and Pierce Streets area for the patience and kindness as the Town’s employees and Culy Contracting worked through snow squalls and cold temperatures to restore service after the lightning strike. The area is under a boil advisory until further notice. Residents can do laundry and shower but the water will have to be boiled for cooking and drinking.

Unfortunately the Harrison and Pierce Street water line breaks are severe and the Town will not be able to turn the water on tonight. Every effort will be made to try to get the water on tomorrow.

A lightening strike has severely damaged the water main in the Harrison and Pierce Street area. Every effort is being made to restore water to the affected areas. Please be patient with the Town and Culy crews who are doing their best to restore service.
