Here is a picture of Noah Collyer. In 1897, Noah along with Glenn Calkins and Earl Robeson started out at 115 W. Union Street. In 1912 the shop moved to a wood frame building just north of where the First Merchant's Bank is now. Noah was a barber until the day he died in 1931 at the age of 66. Noah's son, Bennett Collyer joined in the barber trade in 1918. In 1924, the shop moved to its last location on 8 E. Union Street. Franklin Collyer, the son of Bennett, entered the barber business in 1957.
