🔥 A Look Back at Our Fire Department History 🔥

Today we’re sharing a piece of our departments history by recognizing some of the dedicated leaders who have served as Fire Chief over the years.

Their commitment, vision, and service helped shape our departments into what they are today. We are grateful for the countless hours they devoted to protecting our community, mentoring firefighters, and building a strong foundation for future generations.

🎉 Big Splash to End the School Year! 🎉💦

What better way to celebrate the end of the school year than with a giant splash?

Our firefighters were happy to bring the water, and the students definitely brought the excitement! Seeing all the smiles, laughter, and energy made for a perfect kickoff to summer break

We would like to thank Snow Camp Fire Department for the invitation to join them and Kimesville Fire and Rescue for training.
Members of our department had the opportunity to participate in a live burn training exercise alongside our mutual aid partners. Training together is critical to ensuring a coordinated, safe, and effective response when real emergencies occur.
We had Assistant Chief Bret Pedigo and FF Gary Jaggers standing by at Liberty Station 3 while our other crews participated in training. They responded to two medical calls during the evening.

🔥🐾 Welcome to Our Newest Team Member — SPARKY! 🐾🔥

We are excited to officially welcome Sparky to the team! He’s ready to help us share important fire safety messages throughout our community and especially with our kids.

Sparky has one very important reminder for everyone:

🚨 “Always test your smoke alarms monthly!” 🚨

Working smoke alarms save lives by giving you early warning in the event of a fire. Take a few minutes each month to press the test button and make sure your alarms are working properly.

Be on the lookout for Sparky at future fire prevention events, school visits, and community programs as he helps us promote fire safety and fun learning!
