I know things have been hard and you've had to be meticulous at being on top of everything.
There are days you want to quit, not from living, but from fighting.
You need a respite, I understand this.
Most of the people out there will never know what it takes to feel good when you are so sick inside your body.
They will say, "you look good" or "you don't look sick"
What we have to go through, I wouldn't wish on the devil, or anyone for that matter.
As this is Kidney Awareness Month, I want you to know that you are not alone,
Sadly hundreds are finding out weekly, that they have kidney disease too.
It's nothing to be proud of, or a welcome party should be staged.
It's hard, so very hard.
Thank God I've been Transplanted, but that doesn't change anything for me.
I'm now fighting cancer a second time, as cancer is a side effect of the meds keeping me alive.
It's been quiet, but that's all changing, over the next month we are getting all our ducks in a row.
I have 3 procedure@ scheduled in the next 10 days.
After another 10 days I will be starting radiation.
I will do that for 9 weeks.
And I'll be fighting this battle for the bext 2 years.
God willing, he knows I'm a fighter, we will overcome this too.
Another day another battle.
I want all of you to know, especially you, this could easily be you.
Go see a doctor and get your creatinine checked.
Find out early and do not hesitate, this could save your very life.
Remember that, and this:
Your life matters.
You are beautiful.
You are worthy.
You are not alone.
We are blessed.
We are stronger together.
Warrior up and march on.
