The LHISD CommUNITY Champions program gives community members an inside look at Liberty Hill ISD and the people, programs, and priorities shaping the district.

Through a series of interactive sessions, held on campuses or at departments, participants will hear directly from students, staff, and leadership to gain a better understanding of Liberty Hill ISD programs and operations.

We are looking for up to 20 community members to be in the inaugural cohort that will meet from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. six times over the school year at various campuses. Participants are asked to commit to five of the meetings to participate in a special graduation ceremony next Spring.

🚧 CR 267 ROAD CLOSURE BEGINS SEPT. 16

Bar W Elementary School families, we want to make you aware of an upcoming Williamson County road closure that may impact traffic around Bar W Elementary and the surrounding area.

Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, CR 267 will be closed from approximately 0.5 miles south of Equine Road to the intersection of Larkspur Park Boulevard/Bar W Ranch Boulevard while crews reconstruct the roadway.

The closure is expected to remain in place through Oct. 30, weather permitting. Local traffic will continue to have access, while other traffic will be directed along the posted detour route shown on the map.

Families traveling through this area should plan for additional traffic and possible delays during arrival and dismissal. Please allow extra travel time and use caution around the work zone.

Our Transportation team is aware of the closure and is coordinating with Williamson County regarding any potential impacts to bus routes. We will communicate directly with families if adjustments become necessary.

Thank you for your patience and for helping keep our students, families, and community safe.

TRAFFIC ALERT 🚨

Families, please be aware of significant traffic congestion on CR 214 this afternoon due to ongoing road construction that has reduced traffic to one lane.

The backup is directly affecting Lariat Trails Elementary School bus routes and may also create delays across other district bus routes as buses navigate the congestion and adjust schedules.

Please anticipate possible delays this afternoon. Our Transportation team is monitoring conditions and working to get students home safely and efficiently.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This week, we celebrate the incredible role the arts play in inspiring creativity, building confidence, encouraging self-expression, and enriching the educational experience for our students.

From music and visual arts to theater, dance, and beyond, our arts programs give students opportunities to discover their talents, share their voices, and see the world in new ways.

We are grateful for our talented arts educators, dedicated staff, supportive families, and community partners who help bring creativity to life in our schools every day.

We’re grateful for community partners who invest in our students!

A huge thank you to McCoy's Building Supply in Liberty Hill for donating more than $3,600 in tools and equipment to support our Liberty Hill High School Construction students.

The donation helped fulfill a Liberty Hill ISD Education Foundation grant request, giving students even more opportunities to build their skills through hands-on learning.

Thank you to McCoy’s and the Education Foundation for continuing to invest in opportunities that help our students learn, grow, and prepare for their futures!
