Here's a good way to receive severe weather notifications.

Citizens of Wells County

Did you know that you can sign up for emergency and severe weather alerts and receive them on your phone?

Here in Wells County we use Everbridge Mass Notification System, and here are a few ways you can get it.

1) You can use your phone to scan the QR code in this post and follow the directions.

2) You can text your zip code to 888777 and follow the directions.

3) Facebook, you can go to our page and click the SIGN UP button and follow the directions.

Phone APP Store-
1) Download the Wells County Sheriff's Office mobile phone app and receive alerts straight from the National Weather Service as well
2) FEMA - Federal Emergency Management Agency- you can download the FEMA app to your phone and receive National Weather Service notifications. The FEMA APP can also be used to "Prepare" for a disaster. You can also change the settings if you travel and want to be prepared for a disaster or severe weather while you're away from home.
