MacArthur Elementary’s first graders recently learned about The Tale of Peter Rabbit and the important lessons hidden within the story. 📖

On Friday, students put those lessons into action during their Fable Olympics, where they hopped, raced, balanced, and worked together through a variety of fun challenges.

The Redskins take on Wichita Southeast for the Home Opener, and at halftime we’ll take a moment to recognize and honor our First Responders and Military for their service to our community and country. BLAST Program: Kicks off Monday for all elementary schools (Mon–Thu until 5:00 PM)!

Home Games: Volleyball action on Tuesday & Thursday, SRMS Football & Tailgate Party on Thursday at 4 PM, and LHS Varsity Football vs. Wichita Southeast on Friday at 7 PM.

Shining a spotlight on one of Seymour Rogers Middle School’s very own—Mr. Morgan! 🌟

Originally hailing from Oregon, Mr. Morgan earned his degree from Bemidji State University and completed his ESOL endorsement at Newman University. With 9 of his 12 years in education dedicated right here to our district, he serves as a cornerstone of our school community—not only in the classroom, but also as the Director of the Apache Advantage After-School Program! 🎓🏆

Yesterday in class, his 7th graders collaborated to build their class Social Contract, using the core words GROWTH and MINDSET to set the tone for respect, teamwork, and success this year. 💡✨
