Just a reminder about the new FW&P fishing regulations for youth and our pond fishing regulations.

Libby Fish Pond:
Catch-and-release for trout, except anglers 14 years of age or younger who may take 1 trout daily and in possession.

Montana Fish and Game Licensing Requirements:
• It is now 0-11 (resident and non-resident) do not need special licenses but must follow regulations.

• 12-17 years old must have a conservation license and fishing license.

FYI. The pond was stocked yesterday for the second time this year. This stocking included 450 Rainbow in the 9"-12" size, 40 rainbow in the 2.5 # size, and 20 rainbow in the 10 # + size. Yes that is 20 rainbow in the 10 # - 14 # range. Please remember that the fish pond is catch and release to all people 15 years and older. 14 years and younger can keep 1 fish per day. The pond is under the Montana Fish and Game jurisdiction and is patrolled by the local game wardens. Please be courteous and observe the rules and keep the area clean for all to enjoy this wonderful amenity.
