Congratulations to the 2026 Mike Thomas/Kamaria Spaulding Scholarship Recipient Carmen Bubidi! She is a graduate of Henry Clay High School. She will attend the University of Kentucky. She is interested in pursuing a major in law and special education because she has always had a strong desire to help others and stand up for what is right. Please help us in celebrating her accomplishment.

The CIL Food Pantry is open the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The dates for the remainder of the year are-
June 17th
July 22nd
August 19th
September 16th
October 21st
November 18th
December 16th

Plants are in but we still need your help! Please continue to drop off gallons of water. We want to keep them growing so just drop off water at the garden!

Good Morning Everyone, we need your help! Plants are going in the CommUNITY Garden at Whitney Young Park and we need help keeping them watered. The shelter is under construction and the water is off. We are asking anyone who can to please fill empty gallon jugs and drop them off at the garden. There will be a few more weeks until the water is back on and we will be able to water. If we can get everyone to drop off water in the mean time we can keep them healthy. We are suppose to get rain this week but we all know that doesn't mean everywhere. Please help us save the garden! We have rain barrels set up around the garden but we need water now.
