While I'm running for US Congress in KY-6, I also want my campaign to be educational. To that end, I've posted the first educational video of my campaign on YouTube:

In this video, Dr. Pete Lynch, a Kentucky Party candidate for US Congress in KY-6, explains how elections to the Kentucky General Assembly (the state legisla...

On Wednesday, I had the first radio interview of my campaign for US Congress in KY-6 with the Kentucky Party on Larry Glover Live. In the first part, we discussed the influence of money in politics and why I think campaign finance reform is the single most important policy issue. Starting at about the 16-minute mark, we discussed data centers, and why I support a moratorium to prevent new data centers from being built in Kentucky.

If anyone wants to run for office with the Kentucky Party on a platform that opposes new data centers, please email me at [email protected]. The most important things to know are that the deadline for announcing a run with the Kentucky Party is April 1, and you'll need your signatures collected by May 2.

In hour two, Larry talks with Dr. Pete Lynch, a political professor at UK, running as an independent with the support of a new political group, The Kentucky Party. As an economic populist, he is committed to representing the interests of average Kentuckians and average Americans across the country.

Hi all,
As everyone here knows, data centers have become a major political issue in Kentucky, and they're already driving up electricity bills. But neither major party seriously represents the interests of Kentucky when it comes to data centers.
Republicans politicians are actively encouraging data center construction through tax benefits (for example, HB 775 from last year), and Democrats are too few and too feckless to create any serious opposition.

There is a new party we're forming in Kentucky--the Kentucky Party--and one of the the things I'm trying to do, as the party's candidate for KY-6, is to recruit state-level candidates who, like me, are committed to fighting back against data centers.

Under state law, our candidates have until April 1 to file their statements of candidacy and until June 2 to collect the signatures needed to get on the ballot in November.

If anyone here wants to run for office third-party on an anti-data center platform--or if you know someone who might--please reach out to me at [email protected] or to the Kentucky Party at [email protected]

ICE doesn't need to be "investigated," like so many politicians are calling for. It needs to be abolished and replaced by an organization that respects human life, habeas corpus, and the rule of law.

Housing prices have increased by about 40% in the last 5 years, creating a housing affordability crisis.

I'm running for US Congress in KY-6 with the Kentucky Party, and here's how I think we should address the housing affordability crisis.

If it seems like Congress works for the rich, it's because they do. The overwhelming majority of politicians in Congress--from both major parties--are funded mostly by large donors and PAC contributions. Only 2% get most of their funding through small individual contributions.
