Lexington Public Library The Lexington Public Library has six locations, nearly two million visitors and three million books and other items checked out each year.

A system of six library branches encouraging discovery and connecting communities to free resources, welcoming spaces, lifelong learning opportunities, and each other. Lexington comes for the books, computers, story times, programs, for a place to meet, and a place to get answers. Join us at the Farish Theater to honor Wendell Berry’s legacy through his writing.

Listen as Crystal Wilkinson, Willie Edward Taylor Carver Jr., and others share selections of Wendell Berry’s poetry and prose in celebration of his remarkable life and work.

Afterward, audience members are invited to share their own remembrances or favorite pieces by Berry from the stage.
