✨ Year in Review: Real Talk, Real Change ✨

As we wrap up the year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the conversations, lessons, wins, and challenges that shaped our work and our community.

In this special year-end episode of Real Talk, Real Change, Tyler Morton and I look back on what we’ve learned, the voices we’ve amplified, and how we’re carrying this momentum forward into the year ahead.

Thank you to everyone who tuned in, shared space with us, and believes in honest conversations that lead to real impact. We’re just getting started. 💛

Grateful for moments like this. 💛
Proud to support the Ukari Figgs Foundation as they delivered 125+ holiday food baskets to seniors and families in our community.

This is what care looks like — neighbors showing up for neighbors, making sure no one is forgotten during the holidays. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, resources, and heart to make this possible.

Wishing our seniors and families a season filled with warmth, dignity, and joy.

An update for our neighbors along North Broadway 🌿

The North Broadway Median Greening Project is now substantially complete. Soil mix, mulch, and decorative stamped concrete have been installed, and lane closures are no longer needed. Final cleanup and traffic barrel removal are underway.

🌳 What’s next: Trees and additional landscaping will be installed in Spring 2026.

Thank you for your patience during construction—and we’re excited to see this corridor continue to take shape.

Last week, Council Member Tyler Morton had the opportunity to speak with students at Winburn Middle School during their Career Fair about what it really takes to build a meaningful career.

He shared his own pathway to public service, why school matters, and how good character, consistency, and integrity open doors long before job titles ever do. 💬📚
Conversations like these remind us that investing in our young people today helps shape strong leaders for tomorrow.

Thank you to Winburn for creating space for students to explore their futures and dream big. 🌟
