The Police Activities League of Lexington is a crime prevention program that relies on recreation, athletic and educational activities to build positive relationships between police officers, youth and the community. Lexington PAL Mission: Crime Prevention Through Recreation
The Police Activities League of Lexington will provide kids with an even break in life and to guide them away from a life of
possible crime and drugs. The Purpose of PAL:
The Police Activities League of Lexington is a youth crime prevention program that includes recreational, athletic and educational activities. PAL’s basic philosophy of “Crime Prevention Through Recreation” is a philosophy of fair play and good sportsmanship. This philosophy promotes a positive relationship between law enforcement, community, and our youth. PAL believes, and studies have proven, that when a child respects a police officer on the ball field or in the gym, he or she will come to respect the laws that police officers enforce; therefore, benefiting the entire community.
