Today, we pause to honor and remember the servicemen and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice made our freedoms possible, including the work we do to build safe communities and support each other.

As we spend time with family and friends today, we also remember those who are not here to celebrate alongside us. We are grateful for their courage, their service, and the families who continue to carry their legacy.

From all of us at the Fayette County Attorney’s Office, thank you to those who gave everything.

Celebrating 100 years of legal excellence! ✨🏛️

Our team had a wonderful time at the Fayette County Bar Association's Law Day Luncheon and Centennial Kickoff. We enjoyed hearing Mayor Linda Gorton speak on the rich history of the legal profession in Lexington and our shared commitment to the rule of law.

It’s an honor to work alongside our partners at the Lexington Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff's Office, KY, and across the city to ensure a just and equitable legal system for all. 🤝⚖️

Cheers to a century of progress and the next 100 years!

Protecting children and strengthening families is the heartbeat of what we do. Last year alone, we handled 804 child abuse and neglect cases, along with hundreds of other juvenile cases involving status offenses, delinquency, and dependency. Each case represents a child protected and cared for.
