United Way of Rockbridge does the legwork, finding out where your charitable gifts and your volunteer hours can be put to best use in the local area. When you give through United Way, you know that your gift will have the greatest impact, improving lives within our community. United Way of Rockbridge has developed and continues to manage the Rockbridge Reads! program, promoting early childhood literacy.

We’re pleased to announce the kick-off of our 2027 funding cycle! Application materials are available on our website (www.uwrockbridge.org/funding-process), and completed applications are due back to UWR no later than 5 p.m., Monday, June 29.

UWR encourages all community-based, not-for-profit organizations that provide health, education (especially early childhood education), welfare, and social services to the residents of Buena Vista, Lexington and/or the greater Rockbridge County to inquire about funding applications and the allocation process.
