What an amazing team we have for the animals! What starts as volunteering, fundraising, feeding, cleaning, building, transporting, and caring somehow turns into something even more special. Along the way, volunteers become friends, and friends become family.

The animals may be what bring us together, but the relationships we build with one another as well as the animals is what keeps us going. We are surrounded by people who genuinely care, who show up when they’re needed, and who share the same commitment to making a difference.

Feeling incredibly grateful and blessed for this little family we’ve built together. ❤️🐾

Today was absolutely beautiful! The Marriott provided the perfect backdrop, the breeze was refreshing, and we had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful people.

Once again, the horror community proved that behind the monsters, makeup, and mayhem are some of the kindest, gentlest, and most generous fans you’ll ever meet. We had an incredible day sharing our wolf ambassadors!

We’re looking forward to spending the entire weekend at Spawn of Scarefest and are so grateful to ScareFest for welcoming us back. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, and supported Wolf Run Wildlife Refuge. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the weekend brings!

We’ve gotten a dozen or more calls about the Kangaroo that went on a field trip without permission from his parents. I’m happy to report that he is back home safe and sound! 🦘

A baby raccoon flanked by her two furry bodyguards. (Is that a cabbage Patch Doll)? Then there’s the tiny bandit who thinks the bottle is the most important thing, and the helpers who are positive the raccoon is the most important thing, while Alycia tries to focus on all the important things! A mothers love💜
