I've heard loud and clear from homeowners across Davidson, Davie. You're worried about these property tax revaluations hitting hard—especially with some counties facing **40-50% or more spikes** in assessed values that could strain family budgets and force tough choices for hardworking North Carolinians.

In the short session starting soon, I'll support legislation for a **12-month moratorium** on all revaluation changes. This gives the General Assembly time to review the system and pass real reforms to protect homeowners from unfair, sudden increases like these.

As part of the Senate's Property Tax Working Group, Senate Republicans are leading the charge—just like we've done to cut taxes and budget responsibly. Our goal: shield taxpayers, bring back fairness, and keep North Carolina affordable for families.
