06/11/2026

As part of the Town's regular notification process for Town Elections (such as the Annual Election in March or any Special Election, not State or Federal Elections) a "Warrant" or Notice of Election is mailed to every household - house, apartment, or other dwelling unit. This notice comes folded in half, is a plain white piece of paper titled "TOWN WARRANT Town of Lexington" (Picture A), and details the date, time, place, and ballot question being asked in the election - this is NOT your voting ballot . Please do not return this notice with your "vote" on it. It cannot be counted.

If you requested a mail-in ballot it will come in a white envelope that says, "Ballot Enclosed, Official Election Mail, FIRST-CLASS" (Pictures B) and will contain a Bright Yellow Ballot titled "EARLY BALLOT ENVELOPE" and a pre-paid envelope to return that ballot (Picture C). This IS your voting ballot, if you requested to vote by mail, and will be counted if returned on time.

If you did NOT request a mail-in ballot or qualify for an absentee ballot you MUST vote IN-PERSON on Tuesday, June 16 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM at your specified voting precinct.

Please reach out to the Town Clerk's Office if you have any question at 781-698-4558 or [email protected].
