We at KRM Lexington are steadfast in our commitment to stand with, support, and lift up refugees and immigrants. Although Judge Tunheim was writing about refugees specifically, we believe his statement is true for ALL of our neighbors. Stand with us today and in the days to come. Better things are possible when we stand united, together. Visit kyrm.org or reach out to learn more.

"At its best, America serves as a haven for individual liberties in a world too often full of tyranny and cruelty. We abandon that ideal when we subject our neighbors to fear and chaos." Judge John Tunheim, US District Court of Minnesota, U.H.A. v. Bondi.

These two sentences are from an order issued Wednesday in Minnesota that directs the federal government to release refugees that have been detained as part of Operation PARRIS, which is intended to review and reinterview all refugees that were admitted to the US under the Biden administration.
