Town of Lexington, Alabama Lexington is a town in Lauderdale County, Alabama. It has a mayor/council form of government. Lexington incorporated in 1959.

Lexington is located in northeastern Lauderdale County in the far northwest part of the state, on the Alabama/Tennessee line. The town maintains two city parks with playground equipment, a disc golf course, tennis courts, and a walking trail. The town is also home to Lexington High School and Lexington Elementary School.
