Wilson Downing is getting some traffic improvements!

๐Ÿš— A mini roundabout will replace the 4-way stop at Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive.
๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธโ€โžก๏ธ Pedestrians will only need to cross one lane of traffic at a time due to crosswalks & raised islands.
โžก๏ธ A little ways up the road, a right turn lane will be added to Wilson Downing to get onto Tates Creek Road.
๐Ÿ‘€ Be on the lookout for more info about the mini roundabout & how it will work over the next couple weeks!

The details:
๐Ÿšง The intersection of Wilson Downing & Belleau Wood Drive will be closed from July 6-31.
๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Starting next week, there will be construction in the area to get the site ready.

Now until Monday, June 22, bring your new and gently-used school supplies, including binders, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, dry-erase markers, pencil cases and cleaning wipes, to the Lexington Electronics Recycling Center, where they will be collected for students who will need them next school year.

The Electronics Recycling Center is located at 1306 Versailles Road, and open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. โ€“ 4 p.m., Wednesday from noon โ€“ 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. โ€“ noon.
