First, let me say THANK YOU to all the dedicated Respiratory Therapists in Kentucky. We are a strong and versatile group who never runs from a challenge and I could not be more proud to be an RT!
I wanted to share how the KBRC is working to maintain and expedite licensing of Respiratory Therapists during the COVID-19 emergency.
We have implemented a continuity plan to allow licensing services to continue uninterrupted in the event one or both of the staff become quarantined or ill.
We are expediting licensing by processing Mandatory, Temporary and Limited Mandatory applications, Reactivation and Reinstatement the same business day if submitted by 3pm.
While we are not allowing any visitors to the office at this time, licensees may submit the applications by fax or email and make the payment on the KBRC website https://kbrc.ky.gov

Please feel free call the office or email me if you have any questions [email protected]

01/30/2020

The 2020 renewal ends at midnight tonight. If you are not able to complete a renewal you will need to apply for reinstatement. Please call the board office with any questions.
