Congratulations to rising 8th grade students Lyla Kate Becker and Ella Massey on being selected as two of only 64 girls in the state of Alabama to attend Tech Trek at UAH!

Tech Trek, sponsored by the American Association of University Women, is designed to empower and encourage young women to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists.

We are so proud of Lyla Kate and Ella for this outstanding achievement and can’t wait to see how they use the knowledge and experiences they gained last week. The future is bright for these young ladies!
