On Friday, the Supreme Court let the nation know that it was ready to enter into the fray when it comes to partisan gerrymandering…at least, that’s what scholars and experts are hoping for (well, maybe some of them).

Political attack ads are the norm for candidates, campaigns, and voters. One race is testing whether a candidate can actually avoid running them. The New York Times has a piece out today on our own KY-6 race between Representative Andy Barr and Amy McGrath. Check it out:

Ms. McGrath, a Democrat challenging a Kentucky House member, is turning her competitive contest into a lab to test the conventional wisdom that negative ads work.
