Kentucky State Parks Foundation

We seek to connect people to the outdoors and help them experience everything our beautiful state parks system has to offer.

We depend on the efforts of our devoted and passionate volunteers and generous donations from the wonderful people like you. A generous bequest from a fan of Kentucky State Parks helped create the Foundation in 2006. Since that time, members of the board of this non-profit charitable organization have worked diligently to raise money to fund enhancements at the state’s 49 state parks and historic

sites. The Foundation has created educational programs for elementary school kids to connect them with nature, made hiking trails more accessible to all and worked to preserve historical items and artifacts.
