Councilmember, District 10 Southwest Lexington is a special community. Geographically, since redistricting, the 10th District runs from S.

You can shop on the oldest merchant strip in Lexington at Southland Drive and in the summer listen to the Southland Jamboree. You can hear music or watch theater in the only amphitheater outside New Circle at Moondance in Beaumont. You can run, walk or bike miles of trails throughout the district and enjoy a number of parks, playgrounds and courts. Broadway, changing into Harrodsburg Road until it

reaches Man O' War Blvd. Inside New Circle Road, it extends between Versailles Road and Nicholasville Road. Outside of New Circle Road, it extends between Blenheim and Beaumont Centre Lane. It includes Pasadena Dr., a portion of Alexandria Dr., Clays Mill Road, Rosemont Garden and Southland Dr.

🍦Please join the Picadome Neighborhood Association tomorrow night, for their annual Ice Cream Social and Movie Night! The fun begins at 7:00 PM at the Vista Street Greenspace.

Check your mail, Lexington! 📪

Undue Medical Debt, the national nonprofit that purchases and abolishes medical debt in partnership with the city, has announced relief for another 2,185 Lexington residents. The value of the outstanding medical debt relieved was $4,850,146.13.

Since the Urban County Council unanimously approved $1 million in October 2024 to fund this initiative, a total of $23,161,094.05 in medical debt has now been eliminated for 11,825 Lexington residents.

Anyone who receives mailed notifications is encouraged to keep their letters as proof that their debts have been eliminated.

At tonight's Council Meeting, we'll hear the first reading of the FY27 Budget. If you'd like to learn more about the budget process and/or watch the meeting, click on the post below:

TONIGHT: Council is scheduled to give first reading to the FY27 budget during this evening's Council Meeting.

This would be the first of the two required readings before the budget goes into effect on July 1. You are invited to join in-person at the Government Center (200 E. Main) at 6:00 PM or watch on-demand on Lex TV.

The second reading and final vote are scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
