Bluegrass Swim School Bluegrass Swim School is designed to teach novice swimmers from ages 3 - 12.

Weekend classes are designed to teach basic skills using time-tested progressions that help swimmers transition seamlessly into a competitive team if desired.

Bluegrass Swim School offers the best swim instruction in Lexington. Our lead instructors are all former competitive swimmers with a vast knowledge of stroke instruction that not only teaches survival skills, but also teaches swimming CORRECTLY from the beginning so that a swimmer can transition easily onto a team with proper technique. We have hand-picked the best adults as our instructors to offer the best to our customers. Our instructors have early education experience as well and are familiar in working with children of all needs and abilities. Children who learn how to swim at a young age are reaching many developmental milestones earlier than the norm. Researchers surveyed parents of 7,000 under-fives from Australia, New Zealand and the US over three years for this study.
