We believe that important freedoms are won or lost at the local level. We seek to recruit and support candidates who believe in conservative principles and desire to defend our Constitution. The Republican Party of Fayette County needs leaders to run for state and local offices. Nearly one-half of Lexington citizens are registered as Republicans. The party registration and political ideologies of our City Council does not reflect this reality. We need Lexington Republicans to file for local offices to change this dynamic, so conservative voices are heard. We need Republican volunteers, temporary and long-term, who are committed to making a difference at the local, state, and national level. We seek Republicans who are willing to sacrifice their time and their financial resources to affect political outcomes.
