HOME BUYER INTEREST MEETING RESCHEDULED FOR SHROPSHIRE AVENUE NEW CONSTRUCTION HOMES
The Lexington Housing Authority is pleased to announce nine houses available for sale on Shropshire Avenue (529 through 561). LHA and REACH representatives will hold a home buyer interest meeting on Wednesday, February 25th @ 5:30 p.m. at the LHA Central Office located at 300 W. New Circle Road. LHA and REACH representatives along with a representative from Central Bank, the mortgage lender for the project, will be in attendance to answer questions. Income and qualifying restrictions apply. To make the homes more affordable, qualifying applicants could be eligible for as much as $100,000 in assistance. Current HCV (Section 8) participants are encouraged to apply through the HCV Homeownership Program. HCV participants must have 12 months of occupancy and consistent/stable income.
The new construction homes range from 1,400 to 2,100 square feet; consisting of three and four bedrooms with two car garages, two and one-half and three baths. Amenities vary by house and include farmhouse sinks, tile showers, luxury vinyl plank flooring, carpet, granite and quartz countertops, garbage disposals, dishwashers and stainless-steel appliances.
