🏓 Introduction to Pickleball 101

Interested in learning one of the fastest-growing sports in the country? Join Davidson County Parks & Recreation for an Introduction to Pickleball class!

📅 Dates: July 7 – August 11
⏰ Time: Tuesdays at 6:00 PM
💲 Cost: $100 for the 6-week course
📍 Location: 555-D West Center Street Ext., Lexington, NC 27295

This beginner course will teach the fundamentals of pickleball in a fun and supportive environment.

Beginning Fall 2026 for Hughes Park Field Rentals: All organizations and renters will be required to submit a requests for consideration for each season. This change is intended to create a fair and equitable process for all participants.

I have attached the new Application Packet. Please, read over and if interested email your request for consideration form by 7/6/2026.

Davidson County Parks and Recreation would like to give a big shout-out to Don as he celebrates his 95th birthday!

Don continues to do what he loves most—playing pickleball with his friends at the Davidson County Parks and Recreation West Campus Facility. At 95 years young, he still drives himself to the facility and spends hours on the court enjoying the game he loves.

Don is an inspiration to his fellow players, our staff, and everyone fortunate enough to meet him. His energy, dedication, and positive attitude remind us all that age is just a number.

Happy 95th Birthday, Don! Thank you for inspiring our community every day. We wish you many more years of health, happiness, and pickleball!
