As 2021 comes to an end, it is also the end of a nursing career spanning 39 years. Russ Vick started his Flight RN career at Welborn Baptist LifeFlight on January 1, 1991. Over his 30 years of flying, he flew for Welborn Baptist LifeFlight, St. Mary's LifeFlight, PHI Air Medical and St. Vincent StatFlight 6. Today, Russ hung up his flight suit for the last time. 20 years seems like yesterday! Do you recall where you were when you heard the news?
I was feeding my now 20 year old son his morning bottle after just getting home from 3rd shift at the hospital.
